Phoenix Convention 2024

Phoenix are an exciting, all female, a cappella chorus based in Bedfordshire, UK. We are a diverse group of women who love to perform and entertain by singing close harmony "a cappella" style (unaccompanied by musical instruments), both traditional and modern pieces, to audiences and singing judges.
We mostly sing in the Barbershop style, which is a unique kind of a cappella choral experience, blending close harmonies to create a rich, vibrant sound. This is music as a team sport where every voice matters in the four-part blend. There is a special energy that comes from mastering intricate harmonies to create a sound that is bigger than its 4 parts. It can be highly addictive! And it's more than just singing - it's fun and rewarding to connect with others who share a love for music and performance, to learn and share. Many close friendships have been created through being part of the chorus.
